Children's Services:
We offer a Sunday School for older children and adults, as well as Sunday School for pre-k - elementary aged children starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. During our 11 a.m. service we also offer a children's church.The entire family is invited to stay in the sanctuary for our opening music and will be dismissed after the doxology.*Please note that during the first Sunday of the month the children's church will not be dismissed because we like for them to experience a sermon. There are "busy bags" provided in each pew containing quiet activities incase your children get restless.
Nursery Services
The church does offer a nursery service that is happy to babysit during the 11 a.m. service. You are also welcome to keep your baby with you in the sanctuary during the sermon. Any special needs children of any age, or those that are not yet potty trained would be best served in the nursery rather than children’s church.
Handicapped Accessibility
Our small Church, being in a historic building, is handicapped and wheel chair accessible, however, we apologize that our bathroom does have three small steps making it inaccessable for wheel chairs.

Petersburg Christian Church is located in the the small historical town, Petersburg, KY. We are just a block from the Ohio River, approximately 20 minutes from the Cincinnati Airport, 10 minutes from the Creation Museum and about 40 minutes from the Ark. There are several Air BNBs located within a 10 mile radius.
Directions and Parking:
PCC has a designated parking area both in front of the church, and next to the side church yard. However, if those areas are full please feel free to park next to the Masonic Lodge that is located diagonally across from the church, or in the grass along the road in front of the parsonage (a small white house located right next to the church). We do not have marked handicapped parking, but church members reserve the parking spots closest to the church doors incase anyone with restricted mobility joins us.

Third Street Market and Cafe serves a variety of foods such as sandwiches, pizza, wraps, and breakfast buffets. For more information or to see if they are serving specials, they can be found on facebook. Feel free to take a stroll about 4 blocks away, or drive and they have plenty of parking.

Parks
The Ohio River is a block away from the church. Along Front Street you will find a swing as well as picnic tables that offer picturesque views. There is also a boat ramp where you can access the river.
When you enter town you will see a playground, basketball court, soccer and baseball fields that are open and available for use 24/7. This park is located just a block and a half away.
Petersburg Historical Preservation Society
As the first settlement in Boone County, Petersburg has a very rich history, as it is also located on Indian burial grounds. There are several homes around town that are on the historical registry, as well as the original general store, bank, distillery office and jail dating back to the 1800s. The first public library was actually located in a wing of The Petersburg Christian Church. The jail is practically across the street from the church next to the masonic lodge. The Petersburg Historical Preservation Society is currently working on putting together a walking tour through town of notable places. We will be sure to update when that becomes available.
